Rève du Faun

News & Notes & Pictures

News!

For Everyone wishing we had a second album they could buy, we have good news.

IT IS FINISHED!!!!  We recorded it.  We duplicated it.  It WILL be for sale at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival this summer.  YAY!!!!

Want to see us at your favorite Irish Pub?  Tell the manager or owner about us.  We've sent promotional materials to almost all the Irish pubs in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.  Outside of the Minnesota Renaissance Festival we are relatively unknown.  So a little buzz goes a long way.  Word of mouth and grass roots organization are staples of Rève du Faun.  If you have suggestions for places for us to play contact us Here

A long time ago in a fantasy novel far far away......

A name for a band was intimated.   3 bass players, 5  lead singers, 2 fiddle players and the same guitar  and flute players later; Rève du Faun has never been stronger.  With their signature vocals, backed by bass and 6 or 12 string guitar, interwoven with Gaelic Rock flute; Rève du Faun is a unique blend of traditional and contemporary folk.

Rebel Rousers, Rigs and Jeels, Rock & Reel and Ballads that would make your daddy cry.

"A" Chord 3rd Position..well, actually it's a "G" ...don't have the capo on.

This past summer we started joking around with slogans.  Here are a few we came up with.

Rève du Faun:  The Irish Band with the French name.  Rève du Faun:  We drink like the Irish and Kiss like the French.    Rève du Faun:  More knobs than we know what to do with. Rève du Faun, not altogether unlikely.

Write us with your slogan suggestions Here

All work and no play makes Rève du Faun a dull band.  All work and no play makes Rève du Faun a dull band.  All work and no play makes Rève du Faun a dull band.  All work and no play makes Rève du Faun a dull band.  All work and no play makes Rève du Faun a dull band.  All work and no play makes Rève du Faun a dull band.  All work and no play means there's still beer in the Fridge. All work and no play makes Rève du Faun a dull band.  All work and no play makes Rève du Faun a dull band.  All work and no play makes Rève du Faun a dull band.
